<allison> - I spent a good deal of time working on OS X compilation. Have a working solution, that so far has tested well on various platforms.

<chromatic> I hope to have a checkin in the next couple of days to remove a lot of the generated PCCINVOKE boilerplate for making PCC calls from PMCs.

<jhorwitz> implemented interpolated namespaces in subroutines -- ::Foo::($bar)::baz();

<jhorwitz> now the pure Perl6 version of mod_perl6 works out of the box
<jhorwitz> working on frozen perl presentation, and submitted more proposals to OSCON

<allison> Are they the same APIs?
<chromatic> More or less the same APIs.
<allison> write it as one doc, and we can split it out later if needed
<jhorwitz> and most of our "extending" is done through NCI anyway
<chromatic> One difference is that you may not write your own PMCs when embedding versus extending, but then again you might.
<jhorwitz> ok, one doc it is.  makes it easier to get started.
<allison> another difference will be in the linking/loading section
<allison> but, those may end up as small sections at the end of the API description
<jhorwitz> yeah, that's how i see it playing out.
<allison> the current PDD draft split is 1 for extending, 1 for embedding, and one for the common C API
<allison> (which may be unnecessary, if 1 and 2 are quite short)
<jhorwitz> ok, i'll take a stab at it and see what happens.
